Teen Facials
As my journey in the skincare industry started out because of my own journey of problematic skin in my teens, offering results-based teen facials has been something that I have been extremely passionate about. Understanding how it can effect your daily life and sometimes your own self-esteem, I have always wanted to offer medical facial treatments for under 18’s. This Glow-up facial is great for any teen looking for a pamper, it will make the best birthday/christmas present for your loved one. This treatment is also perfect for those who struggle with the typical teen acne, who may not be quite ready to take the plunge into one of my teen acne packages. Each Teen Glow-up treatment will be completely bespoke to the individual skin so that I can ensure they are getting the most out of their time with me in clinic.
*Please note consultation forms have to be signed off by a parent/carer over 18 and they will have to be present during the entire consultation and treatment*
*These treatments are for anyone aged between 14 and 18 years of age*
What happens during a a teen facial session?
We will stat each session by outlining any skin concerns and goals. The skin will then be prepped and deeply cleansed, the treatment will then be completely tailored to the individual's needs. Each treatment may include vacuum suction, manual extractions, light/deep exfoliation, skin scrapper, high frequency, enzymatic peels, skin Ph balancing, hydration boost, LED light therapy and much more. What is best for the individual will be decided on the day and each session may vary.
What is involved in the acne transformation package?
The teen acne transformation package include 6 bespoke teen facial treatments to combat concerns and really focus on the underlying issues, as well as bespoke at home skin care to ensure optimal results and healthy skin (worth £100). On top of this we will be having discussions at every appointment, talking about diet and lifestyle factors that can affect the skin and really educating everyone on how best to be taking care of their skin at home to reduce these outbreaks and calm the skin.
These packages are focused on creating long term healthy results, because with acne, unfortunately there are no 'instant fixes'.
Do I need a consultation beforehand?
I will always assess the skin and bespoke to treatment to the individuals needs, so booking a consultation is not necessary. However if you wish to discuss skin concerns and treatment plans please feel free to book in for a free of charge consultation.
How long will it take to see results?
Results will be noticeable instantly, however for specific skin concerns you have to be patient and trust the process.
How should I care for my skin before / after teen facials?
♡ Any cold sores need to have been clear for at least two weeks.
♡ If you have you taken oral retinoids (Roaccutane) You must stop taking them at least 12months prior to your session.
♡ No excessive exercise/sweating for 24hours.
♡ Avoid wearing makeup at least 24hours.
♡ Avoidance of direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks, SPF30+ should be applied regularly everyday regardless.
♡ No sunbeds, swimming, saunas, or self-tan products on the treated area for 14days.
Is there any downtime afterwards?
The skin may be red/warm initially (not always), this will go down within 24hours.
